Meet Shannon Gill
Founder, Principal

The Founder of GVG, Shannon Gill, has been in business and leadership for over 25 years, with the majority of that experience inside organizations from U.S. Fortune 100 companies to startups globally. Her roles and projects ranged from Strategy to Operations to Learning and Development to Product Development (both software and manufacturing) to Consulting.

In her journey from Disney in Hong Kong to education in Baltimore, MD to Financial Services and Payments in Georgia and Europe, she began to search for some balance in her life and greater meaning in her work. In her research and exploration, she found a deeper need for connecting at work in a bigger way that includes engaging with the strategy and purpose of the organization and connecting with self and others. And when those things came together, she realized it creates a combination of empowered employees, organizational success and personal growth. That led her to create Guided Ventures Group, an organization that knows how the path works based on experience and research and provides support and guidance to organizations and individuals looking to empower change and drive connection. Her clients are focused on the future, and recognize the power created when you combine the latest in positive psychology along with known best practices for industry and change.

In addition, Shannon wishes she had some of these personal insights earlier in life. As a result, part of the work for GVG includes her passion project, Cosmic Kitty®. The Cosmic Kitty® brand is made up of characters and messages that empower and educate kids. The artwork and stories which began as doodles when Shannon was only 7 years old have developed into a full line of character art, books and products to support educators and non-profits for use with kids, and even adults who like to bring in play.
